Statement of Purpose
This school exists in response to God’s command to educate His children. The members of Grace Lutheran Church have accepted this responsibility by establishing and maintaining a full-time Christian Day School for their members and the community.
The educators of GLS are committed to developing the whole child; spiritually, socially, emotionally, academically, and physically.
The school program provides opportunities challenging students to develop academic skills. There are deliberate plans made to meet the varied needs of the individual learner through studies in music, art, computer, foreign language, STEAM, and physical education.
Students are further empowered through the teaching of problem solving and decision making skills that reflect Christian thoughts and actions. There is an intentional focus on creating and developing a sense of caring and respect for others within the school community, the Huntington Beach community, Orange County, and the world.

An all-inclusive learning experience.
From kindergarten to the 12th grade, our curriculum is exhaustive, presenting students with endless opportunities to develop critical knowledge of academics, the gospel, and the world as a whole.
Christ in everyday teaching.
Christ alone is our guide as our certified teachers represent his teachings in the instruction and counseling they offer to our budding students. God instructs us to educate his children, and we do it in both curricular learning and through the gospel.
